PIGMENTS: The living mark

The synthesis and correlation of steps that end up becoming a mark that catches your eye instinctively, without you having to stop and think why.

It is the evocation of the feeling of each moment.

Letting yourself go with the pigments is exactly this, trying to feel at ease, blending colors to create new shades, erasing them and painting over them again.

It is creating rivers, seas and streams of colors that intertwine. It is becoming a constant participant with the elements calculating the amount of pigment, searching for the perfect dissolution or not with water and finally etting the sun or the lack of sleep do the rest. Depending on the exposure time to its light or the hours of rest, the tones intensify, transform or set in a different way.  Making the environment a direct part of the piece. It is imagining a whole nature and system that suddenly comes to life on the fabric.

From the outside it might seem like I just paint t-shirts but to me it's much more than that. This collection is not made to be hung on walls like an untouchable painting it's made for you to wear it. So you can sweat it, cry it, laugh it, and feel it.

And speaking with complete honesty with all this, I have also tried to make an economic profit, obviously... otherwise, what would I live on? I've tried to be a bit commercial because, truth be told, I like selling. I like seeing my pieces leave the workshop and come to life out there.
