Care Rituals
The purity of the thread.
Care ritual for undyed garments
Our undyed pieces (ivory, cream, and natural white) are the most honest expression of raw material. By preserving the fiber’s original color without chemical treatments or dyes, organic cotton and silk retain superior softness and breathability — but they also require more conscious care to protect their structure.
Washing: Respect the fiber
We recommend always washing undyed garments in cold water. Heat can damage the natural fiber, causing it to lose its characteristic flexibility and softness. Use a delicate cycle and a neutral detergent to ensure the knit structure is not exposed to unnecessary friction.
Drying: The key to shape
This is the most vital step for garments with asymmetric or open-knit designs (such as the Mae Top or the Xarxa Dress). Wet knit fabric is heavy; if hung vertically, gravity will distort the piece. Always dry the garment flat on a horizontal surface. This allows the thread to return to its original position as it dries, preserving the pattern exactly as it left the workshop.
Storage
Once dry, store knit garments folded rather than hung to prevent the shoulders from stretching over time. Treat your piece with the same calm with which it was created, and it will accompany you for a lifetime.
